Richa is an India-qualified lawyer, admitted as an advocate in the Bar Council of India and registered as a foreign lawyer with the Ministry of Law, Singapore. She completed her LLM in International Business Law at the National University of Singapore in 2011.

Richa’s areas of practice are General Corporate Law and Compliance, Restructuring, Taxation – Direct, Indirect, Personal and International. She also advises on cross-border transactions such as joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Yusarn Audrey, Richa was heading the Singapore office of one of the leading and largest corporate law firms of India, where she advised clients based in Singapore and the ASEAN region on their various legal requirements in India. During her professional life, Richa has had the experience of heading the India desk of a Singapore firm where she acted for various Indian companies in Singapore and South-East Asia.

Richa has represented clients in joint ventures between Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and Indian public listed companies and also advised Chinese SOEs on strategies for investing into India.

She has been a regular speaker at various events conducted in Singapore and China on topics such as “Doing Business in India” and was a panelist in the Singapore Country Seminar during the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2015, Ahmedabad, India.
