Jingcao is a Patent Engineer in the Intellectual Property Department. She assists in patent drafting, registration and prosecution work in the firm, particularly in the areas of materials engineering, semiconductors and electronic devices.
Jingcao graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (First-Class Honours) from the Nanyang Technological University with a major in Materials Engineering, and was a recipient of Singapore Government Undergraduate Scholarship for International Students. She later obtained a Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law (GCIP) with Merit from NUS Law School and Singapore IP Academy, and a Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property Management from NUS Division of Engineering and Technology Management.
Prior to joining Yusarn Audrey, Jingcao was with an international intellectual property firm dealing with patent work which includes patent prosecution and registration in various jurisdictions, including Singapore and various European countries.
Jingcao has previously worked in the printer department of an American multinational technology company, where she was responsible for managing the quality and reliability of various print-head products and has developed in-depth industrial experience in printing technology and printer manufacturing processes.
Jingcao has relevant research experience in materials characterization and synthesis. She has previously assisted in a research project of Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology to develop deposition process for producing TCF (transparent conducting film) for flexible displays. In her final year project, she worked on synthesis of nano-scaled hybrid polymeric materials for applications in drug delivery and water desalination.
Jingcao is well-versed in English and Chinese (native language).
