Cheryl Pang (Patent Associate)

Cheryl graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Life Sciences from the National University of Singapore (NUS).

 

During her course of studies, she performed research in the areas of biochemistry, comparative biochemistry, behavioural ecology, and sociobiology. Cheryl has also undertaken a research programme, namely the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme in Science (UROPS), and participated in the 11th National Undergraduate Research Opportunities Programme (NUROP) Congress 2006, funded by Singapore’s Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR).

 

In 2007, Cheryl pursued her studies in law and she graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of London in 2010.

 

Prior to joining Yusarn Audrey, Cheryl was a Patent Executive with a large law firm and was involved in patent litigation work. She was also a Patent Associate with a boutique patent practice dealing with patent drafting and prosecution work involving inventions in various fields including pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, chemistry and mechanical engineering. She also handled registration of trademark applications and assisted clients with intellectual property licensing and transactions.

 

Cheryl has also completed the South-East Asian Drafting (SEAD) Course in patent specification drafting conducted by Federation International des Conseils en Propriete Industrielle (FICPI).

 

At Yusarn Audrey, Cheryl is a Patent Associate at the Intellectual Property Department of the firm and is involved in intellectual property registration and prosecution work.
